The Good Times ~ Kovu and Kiara -CE

* EDIT I placed second, If you haven't read the comic yet, it's a really well done comic on the stories of Kiara and Kovu, and you should check it out ^^*

This scene was done for contest! It is very VERY close to the deadline for the contest, and I did want to enter a while back but, well time got away from me, then I had scary deadlines for school payments and such so... yeah. A few hours before... but still here!
btw I love your comic, it's so cute! I'd love to contribute this little piece to it, if I am chosen of course!

From SP, we all know that scene where Kiara was looking for Kovu, and when a frog is startled she thinks she found Kovu!?

Well, the memories of that good time remains in Kiara's mind, always.
It was a humid day and the two had both found their way past their parents, and the watchful eye of Zazu to their meeting place; the pond. Kovu had arrived earlier that day and was nervously awaiting for the golden princess to appear through the tall grass. Kiara, feeling extra sneaky was already there, watching her best friend through the reeds at the edge of the pond. She wasn't particularly good at hiding, or being stealthy, or even thinking up an attack plan, but she had, this time decided to try out a ploy to get the stubborn cub to go swimming with her.

She waited for the moment when he was facing away from her and she swatted at a frog that sat at the waters edge. The frog lunged right at Kovu causing him to leap away from the frog. Right into the water! The frog's preferred escape route was, of course, also in the water.
"SPLASH""
Next thing Kiara knew, Kovu had found his way into the water, and he was sitting there stunned at what just happened. Kiara decided to give her position away to her poor sopping wet friend. She couldn't even help bursting into laugh at her friends expense, he was looking at the frog as if he still didn't know what was happening. The frog just glared angrily at Kiara, but soon he was disturbed again as Kiara took a vine from the nearby tree right into the water and created a cannonball to wash the lily pad from Kovu's head.
The remainder of the day was spent playing and laughing in the water hole, as Kiara had successfully gotten Kovu to lighten up, and swim! They will never forget that day!

Ok so the story is maybe a little cheesy but I wanted to draw a scene with them enjoying their meeting spot, and I wanted Kovu to lighten up, because that's what Kiara always wanted him to do
